And what better way to celebrate this season of charity and altruism than with a free helping of sexy Santa eyecandy? Gives ho ho ho a whole new meaning, doesn't it? (Wink, nudge, wink)
Collet is my first true NSFW figure. "True" meaning you can goggle all her girly bits. All. Of. Them. There's really no rationalizing her as artistic nude. This girl is all smut.
As a combination of Naked + Creative, it's all too easy understand what Native's all about. As a subsidary of Max Factory, it's safe to assume the folks there know quality. It's too bad all their products are exclusive (so far) and relatively difficult to obtain without spending a fortune. They're truly spectacular.
Collet comes in what appears to be a cake box. It's substantial and heavy, meaning Collet was auto-EMS upon shipping. I'm very fond of Collet's box, one, because it's made to look innocuous, and two, because it represents simplicity at its best. Red and plain with slight gloss, it's unblemished with the commercial promo-shots and fancy hodgepodge that plague most figure boxes. Must be the advantage of being exclusive.
Collet actually comes with heaps of accessories, including a cat-girl petit nendo, a postcard featuring Tony Taka's art, a fuzzy (huge) round base, a santa hat and gifts, but I figure (ha) I'd focus on Collet herself.
She's based off this picture, which is also included as a post-card:
Looks like the poor girl tripped. That would explain the pose. There's no way of explaining the underwear though. Or her choice of dress in general considering it doesn't even begin to cover her vital regions. Just sayin'.
True to the art, Collet is splayed in a compromised position. Native did a wonderful job relaying her worried expression. Almost makes you fear for her "integrity".
Collet is slightly more expressive than most Tony Taka girls (probably for good reason). Her facial expression is distressed, or, as we like to call it, "Oh noes!" Perhaps a better way of describing it is mostly worried with a side of aroused. As the old cliche goes, there's probably a German word for it.
Brilliant rendering aside, she has teeth!
While Collet's face is pleasant, her hair really takes the limelight. It's a little silly to rave about Collet's locks when there's so much more to stare at, but the sculpt is so spectacular it truly outshines everything else. Native took some liberties in this area and gave her hair extra length and volume—a decision that can only be applauded as it makes 3D Collet look even better than she does in the original picture.
Her hair sure looks funny when she's flipped over though. Cephlapod Collet! Ready for action! If you look carefully at the pictures, you'll realize the strands of her hair don't flatten completely against the ground. It's not a big deal though. We'll just assume it has a will of its own.
Just look at all the detail! The magnificent shape! The gorgeous motion! Let's take a look at it one more time from a different angle! Oooh, it's just like chocolate.
Collet in general is wonderfully detailed. For a naked figure, they sure put effort into her benign regions. Her nails are painted and glossed. They even sculpted the adorable snowman treads into her boots (among other, less adorable treads).
In case you're wondering, the white borders on her outfit are actually fuzzy. I'm a little worried about this. After all, it's bound to gather dust and stain.

Do the details in Collet make her a work of art? Sure it could, I guess, if that's the way you want it to work, but let's face it, Collet's all about the TnA.
But before we move onto the important part, I have to mention my one complaint about Collet's clothes (besides that she's wearing any at all). Take a look at this:

Don't be distracted by her rotund and revealing behind (hard, I know). Rather, take a look a her panties.
They are supposed to hug her vaginal area, but mine are determined to pop out like some spring-loaded staple arm. Nothing I do tucks them into their proper zone. How frustrating!
Not all of Collet's clothes come off. You can't take off her weird looking sleeves, or pull off her leggings, but enough comes off to matter. She's easy assembly wise (and possibly otherwise...?). Her head pops off so you can slide off her shawl, and her skirt slides off her bottom. Her panties are attached to her skirt by a thin line of plastic and come off alongside. All removeable items are made of soft plastic.
Glorious. |
Native gave Collet a full, fleshy body. As far as I know, it's anatomically correct, but why should you take my word for it? Feel free to look for yourself! Let's start with the top.
Native did a wonderful job rendering Collet's boobs. The gravitational tug is correct and they don't look like a pair of balloons glued to a girl's body. The nipples are perky (as it would have to be in such cold conditions) and well shaded.
I also like that they're a reasonable size. Big, but not threatening. Huge boobs scare me. They're constantly staring, and staring—like they're going to attack.
To the midsection!
Collet's body is spectacularly rendered. She's all curves. All. Curves. Just look at the alluring sculpt of her spine, her shoulderblades, her arched back, how every aspect of her body is meant to lead the eyes to her wonderfully flaunted behind!
Now, to the bottom!
Collet has a consummate rear. It's to be commended for its broadness, it's general largeness, and alluring elliptical shape.
But I must say, I'm a little disappointed in the sculpt of her lower regions. They're not very detailed, are they? After all the work they put into her breasts and hair, it's strange that they would neglect her lower regions so profusely. Sure, the parts are there, but they don't shine (ok, that sounded weird even to me).
What does shine, rather, are her leggings. They're beautifully sheer, beautifully detailed, and oh-so-sexy. If only the straps made sense. If they obeyed the laws of physics, then all would be complete. At the moment, Collet's garters look like pieces of strong glued to her thighs. Strange. You would think they would hang along her sides rather than hug her rear, but it's a small and easily forgiven mistake. What has accurate physics done for anyone anyways?
Sometimes around Christmas, I get in a festive mood, upturn my entire house, and scrounge for decorations. Hey, I thought as I pranced around like some tinsel-fairy, Collet would make an excellent tree topper!
Of course she didn't. She kept sliding off, even when I tucked the treetop between certain, suggestive areas. And what would the neighbours say to find some well-endowed girl almost-humping a treetop on such a G-rated day? In the end, I swigged some Christmas ale, ate some Christmas songs, and fa-la-la-la-laed a few pictures. Then I tucked Collet back into her cakebox before anyone of any status noticed my affinity for PVC privvies.
Oh no! Collet's getting crushed under Christmas decorations!
Christmas light bondage anyone? On a side note, am I the only person who finds sexy Santa costumes really sexy? It must have something to do with the spirit of "giving". Mmmm...
Collet's being shy.
But she's not shy enough not to offer you a Christmas present! My, my, makes me wonder what the real present is (nudge, wink, nudge).
'Tis the season, after all! |
Collet also comes in a "Little Devil" version, which isn't as devilish as you might assume. Rather, it replaces her red santa suit for a black one, and makes her a blondie. In general, the original version appeals to me more, being more festive and dark haired than the recolour. I must admit, I like Devil Collet's turquoise eyes though. I almost wished I had both of them, you know, so I could swap outfits at will.
Collet will definitely not suit everyone's tastes, but there's no denying she's a high-quality figure. As my first true NSFW figure, I'm exceedingly pleased with her.
